About The Sierra Protection PAC

The Sierra Protection PAC will join a statewide network dedicated to electing environmental champions to local offices, a network that has already established nine local league PACs across California, targeting key battleground regions. We believe in investing in local nonpartisan down ballot races to build a strong bench of diverse climate champions across the state. Each local league plays a critical role in impacting local races and supporting local environmental voices, not only by providing financial contributions, but also recruiting, training, and supporting new leadership while encouraging youth engagement in local political processes.

During her time on council, she has prioritized creating housing for all community members across income levels, increased the focus on addressing the substantial wildfire risk to the town by advocating for additional funding to increase the pace and scale of wildfire mitigation, and worked to make the community more inclusive. She co-founded the Sierra Protection Action Network to build power across the Sierra Nevada among environmental, racial, economic and social justice organizations.
